Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Pastry Shells

    • Cut the shortcrust pastry sheet into small rounds.
    • Lightly grease a mini tart pan and line with the pastry sheet rounds.
  3. Filling

    • Fry the bacon and onions until golden.
    • Mix the fried bacon and onions together with eggs, cream, HELLMANN'S Real Mayonnaise, thyme, and grated cheese.
  4. To Cook & Serve

    • Pour the filling into each tart shell.
    • Bake in a preheated combi oven at 175°C for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and firm.
    • Allow to cool, then serve with a simple side salad. Garnish with a spoonful of tomato chutney, if preferred.
