When it comes to a curry which suits all palates, you can't go wrong with butter chicken. This easy recipe features tender chicken pieces simmered in a rich, creamy tomato curry made using KNORR Patak's Butter Chicken Paste and KNORR Tomato Powder for faster prep.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.

  2. Butter Chicken

    • Heat oil in a large pot over high heat and cook chicken pieces for 5 minutes or until golden. Drain and set aside.
    • Add KNORR Patak's Butter Chicken Paste to pot and cook for 1–2 minutes or until fragrant.
    • Stir in boiling water (600 ml per 10 serves), KNORR Tomato Powder, and KNORR Chicken Booster. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
    • Return chicken to pot and continue to simmer over medium–low heat until the chicken is cooked through.
    • Stir through thickened cream. Simmer for another minute.

  3. To Serve

    • Pour butter chicken over steamed rice, garnish with green onions, and serve with KNORR Patak's Sweet Mango Chutney on the side.
