Celery leaf is greatly underrated as a cooking ingredient and is often discarded in favour of its more valued stalk. Celery leaf has a milder taste than basil, but also works great in pesto which can greatly enhance many types of dishes: steak, chicken, fish or pasta.

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Celery Leaf Pesto

    • Add celery leaves, garlic, parmesan, pine nuts and KNORR Thai Lime Powder into a food processor. Blitz until finely chopped.
    • With the processor still running, slowly add the extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Chef's Tip

    • Add baby spinach leaves to bulk out the pesto, if needed.
