This delicious sauce can be made with any type of mushroom. Button or Swiss brown are true classics. However, for an Asian twist, try using shiitake or shimeji mushrooms.

Preparation

  1. Method

    • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5–10 minutes, or until golden. Keep warm. 
    • In a large pan, heat 500 ml of water. Whisk in KNORR Rich Brown Gravy Gluten Free and bring to the boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and continue whisking until smooth. Stir through the mushrooms and thickened cream, simmer for a further 2–3 minutes, and serve.
