Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Stuffing

    • Remove stems from the mushrooms and finely chop the stems.
    • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions, mince, and stems.
    • Cook until the mince is sealed, then add KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce and KNORR Italiana Pronto Napoli.
    • Season and simmer for 20 minutes, or until sauce is reduced.
  3. Baked Mushrooms

    • Place the mushrooms on a large baking tray, then spray or brush with some oil.
    • Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, or until just tender.
    • Spoon some of the beef stuffing into each mushroom and top with cheese.
    • Return the mushrooms to bake in the oven for another 15 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and cheese is golden.
  4. Brown Gravy

    • Heat the water in a saucepan, then add KNORR Rich Brown Gravy.
    • Whisk to combine, then bring to a boil. Drop to a simmer for 2 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. To Serve

    • Transfer the baked mushrooms to serving plates.
    • Spoon over some of the gravy and serve with salad or steamed vegetables on the side.
